Unless by chance the doubling stayed consistent throughout the whole year like class 7 doubling would.
1944 last two digits stayed doubled as they rolled over from 1943. If an image on one particular hub was not removed all the way on a former hub, it's a case for what particular hub, die transfer is involved.

I see it but it's just like all my other coins,,, our coins are not in their books therefore even if we do find something like this or mine & or like others that we are seeing things, hundreds if not thousands are told this "Pareidolia. Not a 4." or along those lines,,,,, don't even sweat it.
Awesome coin
I see the S under the S also. Lol 🤣😆 I'm seeing things

Send it to CONECA for authentication. See what they say. Until it's authenticated, it's only your opinionof some random marks under very high magnification.
Like your other post,,, NGC says the marks are not compelling enough,,, also small PMD on the mark. So even if it was different the changes are probably how thick it is so,,, it's pretty close to the correct original displayed MS-67+ if I remember right
PS NGC answers on the upside down 9 on the Columbus coin was it's dirt
So even if it's there,,,, it's dirt.

We've seen this all season long Jim, you come in here with that kinda weak shot and it'll get denied every time.

So you're saying that even if the expert authenticators at NGC said a coin is not a variety (not the OPs coin), the OP should trust your opinion.
Facts, data and CREDIBLE opinions have value. Trolling up trouble does not.
The OP has an interest in coins and has generally been respectful of the feedback he's received here (even though he has much to learn). Please don't start using him for your trolling entertainment nonsense. That type of activity is unwanted in the forum.
No I posted on someone else's coin thread,,, they think everything of mine is fake.
PS I'm not these other people,,, we are different,,, or I can say that for me anyways.
Quit looking under a microscope. If it's not visible without a loupe then it's probably not very valuable. Sorry, but collectors do like to see the "error" without a microscope. What fun is it to have to put it under a scope every time you want to look at it?
Just for fun but a numismatic waste of time.

If you enlarge a photo of a metal surface, many things may seem to appear. Pareidolia as said.

@RobertLahti @SlickCoins @emeraldATV

If you're going to include Emerald in that group atleast make him Mr. Peanut.
Notice where the can says "Enlarged to show detail"

I would hate to offend Mr. Peanut.
