    Some of the apparent hairlines in the hair of chief on obverse have interesting characteristics & kind of wonder what a high res picture of this coin in the raw would show. Almost looks like at least some are planchet prep pre-strike as they disappear into struck up hair details....
    I have seen such in series within my own focus and sometimes the mildly cursory grading assessment may not involve enough time to ascertain such differences (pre-strike planchet hairlines or other issues versus post-strike in areas of low striking pressure).
