Garage sale find...........just for fun

So, saw a garage sale sign and followed to home. Moving sale. Asked the owner if she had any coins. She went into the home and brought out a bag of Sac, Non silver Kennedy's, Circ Ikes, a couple of SBAs and 1 wheatie and this. I looked carefully and saw it was a dime....took a sec for sure. She said that she had put that on a train track when she was 6 or 7 and she was born in '47. So, it amazed me that in 1953/4 there was a dime from 189* still circulating. Even more amazing is that she has kept it all these years as a fond memory of her and her brothers. Paid her face value for them all. Oh, and here are the pics.

You never know what is still out there. A month ago, I found a 1907 D Dime in a Coinstar machine, along with a number of Mercs. One was a 20 P that would grade XF 45.
