Pulled this one from a roll the other day. Sorry, the lighting and focus stinks! CPG says it's rare. The price doesn't seem to reflect that!.... Probably in a high grade. This guy is beat-up!

Nice pull, and quite scarce. I had one years ago that I sold to a Forum member, he'd been searching for an example for over a decade.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

Just learned that there are QDOs. Quadruple and Quintuple.
    PCGS says they're legit.

Yes, very true. I should check eBay recent sales. Thanks!

Congrats on the find! I have not yet found a 1973-D DDO Kennedy and I search thousands of half-dollars every week.
I did just find a 1971-D DDO last week, however.

Nice find... I have not checked my set in a number of years, but I believe I have a TDO and a couple of DDO's or R's.... Good pictures. Cheers, RickO

Thanks Rick. I'd be pulling those sets out and looking. On more then one occasion, I've cherrypicked my own collection and found stuff I didn't ever know I had. I can't count the times I've read something here, then doubled checked my coins.

Same here! That’s one of the reasons this place is so cool 😎 I finally made time to check my six recently purchased β€˜73 sets after reading this the other day. And guess what…
I believe it will grade 64, a point for luster.

Coinscratch that! I just matched up the die gouge at Variety Vista and this one is only #3 and not FS-101.

Even though it’s not one they recognize. Am I missing something?
