Another altered 1922 no D from coinstore1955 on ebay
This seller has been doing this for quite a while and has had many listings removed.
A very dishonest seller and ebay has done nothing.

Check the sellers feedback there are 15 sales on just the first page and that doesn't include the removed listings.
It's crazy how many positive feedbacks they get for this altered junk and ebay removes the bad ones.
That coin is really “piece of work”!
Incredible just how such a seller could accumulate such a degree of positive feedback.

Gone
...
I have a Lincoln Penny collection I started when I was 12 years old which is missing 15 coins. Probably all of the key coins including the 1922. All of the fakes that continue to pop up scares me from investing and completing the collection.
At least I have the satisfaction that what I completed was from searching thousands of rolls of pennies and I believe all are in
good or better condition. A memory of how I got into collecting.
WoW! its gone before I had time to post a comment!

THIS is why.

Well coinguy1994 must have got wind of this thread and realized his ID would come up in a search now.
He changed his ID, his new name is coinstore1955
we haven't been able to see the id history for a while now, right? so we can't see this person's previous alts?
dang, removed ALL the listings?
I believe you are correct about the prior ID's
The seller ended the other listings.
It is common for this guy to end his listings and lay low for a few weeks once he has been caught again.
He will be back.
I had it on my watchlist and I got an offer of $50 off before it went poof!
Another one listed from this crook.

Also reported. I am glad you guys are watching eBay. I think it helps keep at least a few counterfeits from entering collections.
Not surprising. eBay ignores me most of the time 👎👎👎
I just did a Google search to make sure this sellers ID comes up to warn buyers if they take the time to look.
It appears Google wants to display the results for Coin Store 1955 so I thought I would include it here with the spaces.
Listing removed.
Its another one DOWN, that's the way we like.

He will be back with another listing.
It would be nice if we could get @Numismaticcrimeinfo to take a look and contact ebay & the seller.
He has sold several of them

I just sent PCGS a 1922 no D for grading. Hope the coin gods are smiling on me. I am amazed at the number of fake coins out there. I just had two trade dollars that I checked top to bottom and sideways that came back as "authenticity unverifiable". I guess that is one step above fake? I just retired and have begun to have coins that I have collected over the years graded. What an eye opener.
A new listing from this crook.

I saw it; on my watched list.
Removed.
Great work getting this - and many others - removed. It is a bit like playing Whack-a-mole though..... Cheers, RickO
There is a much nicer looking altered coin up this morning, plus three crude die struck counterfeits. I reported the removed D but for some reason could not report the counterfeits.
