For some reason I felt that these images I made about 15 years ago fit in with this thread

OK... just happen to have an image handy... Cheers, RickO

I photographed this last year.
There are to many to choose from! I like how this one turned out.

I took these two today. They're my newest acquisitions. The franc's holder is OGH and I didn't notice it had a few scuffs until after I took the pics. I was too lazy to retake them.
This is one that has a TrueView. I'll let you determine which is better but I'll say the TV is redder than reality.
Great thread! Happy to contribute:

My worst, oldest coin. Hey, that sounds like a topic for a thread! 😂 🤣
And yes, it looks worse in-hand! 😂 🤣

For some reason these got all mixed up. Make it a match the reverse to the obverse which is impossible because of the way they are mixed up. These were all shot and edited yesterday or today.

Here are my somewhat unconventional imaging efforts of selected coins I own.
The owned coins, as pictured below, vary from an elongated cent of minuscule monetary value to a unique 1850 gold piece with an auction provenance going back to its original owner (James B. Longacre), the man who designed it - suggesting that it may have been the first 1850 $20 gold piece minted in the United States.
The 1861 $20 Reverse Paquet and Early $10 Gold Piece also are noteworthy for their rarity.

These are cool! I have no idea what they are though, is there a history behind them?

British silver ingots. They are used by British jewelry stores to make jewelry. The markings are proof and quality of the silver. I have a diagram here somewhere that ID's each one of those markings. location, when, where, etc...

I'll tell you another little inside secret. I found them on the sidewalk, in a tiny little plastic ziplock bag. In the diamond/jewelry district of a little town called Harrogate, UK. Someone obviously dropped them.
