@arby96 .... Nice little die cracks and excellent pictures. Cheers, RickO
fwiw, that coin appears to have a good deal of micro contamination. i wouldn't keep it near anything valuable. i would suggestion acetone but i have read reports of it possibly reacting with red copper. the context of that conversation was geared more towards high-end large cents but copper is copper. the challenge and risk probably prohibits a lot of testing. i don't know about mineral oil and red copper either. great for brown from all reports i've read.
not sure how dedicated you are to the neat die cracks/breaks but you may like the cud side of numismatics and tracing cuds back to their MDS and EDS. tracing cracks to breaks to retained to cud can be fun and very challenging.
Thank you for the information.
This. I'll also add that this carries no premium on Lincoln cents.
You may not pay much for it, There are individuals that have paid up to $6.00 bucks. 600% is a premium. LOL Its a keeper for me anyway.
There are also people that spend many multiples of a prospective numismatic item's value on counterfeit, cleaned, or otherwise damaged coins. A few isolated transactions do not establish FMV in most cases.
Isolated transactions on on ebay for over 20 years. LOL
It's actually more than that. . .

I'll note 600% of 1c is 6c, less than the cost of postage. I rest my case.
Well Missed a few zeros, never was great at %eges. Semantics really. Its still a huge profit if one thinks about. Just because one individual dosn't think its worth much others may think Differently. A lot of individuals will pay more for an item than its worth if they really want it. Who is anyone to say what somthing is worth. Coins Snobs really need to get over themselves!
"Coin snobs"!

Talk about semantics.
