when you are able to post photos that will help a lot in seeing what you are talking about

It was worth 25 cents when it was issued in 2016.

    Hope that helped.

New members can't add photos until their status goes from Applicant to Member.

Until then if you can save the photos elsewhere and provide a link people can view it there.

Another bit of info on it.

According to the US government, it is still worth 25 cents today.

Have new collectors lost the ability to ask questions by forming complete sentences. Has our education system really gone down the crapper in the last few decades, that we just can't ask simple questions without pictures?

That's what I'd like to know.

Yes; I was being an ass, but describe what you have if a photo can't be posted. Have we lost the ability to communicate without photos? Ask a more intelligent question, not just what do I have? Mark has been trying to say that in a nice way, but no one seems to be getting it.

Well im not sure how to describe it. It looks like something got into the press while coin was being made. Impression of face side is really light except for where the questionable object got pressed.

If there is a way for me to send someone a picture then they can post it. Idk

Nobody likes being attacked. Nothing good comes out of it. And it really isn’t necessary. I’ve seen numerous people being attacked in this forum over the past few weeks since I’ve joined. My best advice….leave or choose your words wisely. Some people on here need to remember where they came from.

Unfortunately YouTube is a bad place to research genuine errors unless you’re very good at filtering the nonsense. This isn’t a perfect description set (imo) but it does put a lot of terms out there and some pics of each category. They do mix varieties in with errors but for a new collector they seem the same: https://coins.thefuntimesguide.com/error_coins-2/

Unfortunately, YouTube has many videos about so-called rare coin "errors" and a lot of "value" information, which is highly inaccurate and gives people false hope.

@Jf123... Welcome aboard. You can post links to pictures now. It sounds like you may have a worn coin, or possibly a grease filled die.... and maybe something else. We will need pictures to conclusively determine what you have. Cheers RickO
