Nice photos and interesting find.
I think most people would call this a "die chip" due to the relatively small size.
Some people also require a connection to the rim to be called a cud.
Otherwise it could be called an "interior die break" if large enough, relative to a die chip.
put me down for clash although it is too blurry for me to say for certain.
Yikes. The pictures were painful to look at. You should only hold coins by the edges. The oils and salts in your skin will tarnish or even corrode the surfaces.
So die clash or chip. Ok good to know. Thank you and Yes I will hold it by the rim. I have a tremor disorder, so i shake quite a lot. But I will make get something to hold it. I appreciate everyones input.
.
they make really thin cloth gloves too.
or some of those finger glove things. a glove but just the finger parts.
sounds great. Thank you.
Not sure what the picture is showing. Definitely NOT a cud as that occurs when the die breaks around the rim.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Yes totally it is a die chip not a die break.
One more vote for die chip. Thanks for the pictures. Cheers, RickO
