Good things come to those who......................

............. do good deeds for others, I guess!

I've been picking up a few rolls at a time from the bank (nowhere near the quantities I see others post about, however), both to try & find missing 2022 coins we still need for our collections as well as to help a friend find older ATB quarters he needs to complete his folder.

As my friend now only needs 1 "P" ATB but 8 more "D" ATB's, I even picked up and searched thru several rolls while on a recent trip to Texas. I've been coming up dry recently, but still grab a few rolls on occasion back home.

This latest time, while I didn't find any of the elusive needed quarters for him, I WAS rewarded with my 3rd "W" quarter find! A beautiful (looks like fresh from the Mint) Tallgrass Prairie (my second one of these)!! The attached pics don't do it justice (crappy phone/camera), but hopefully gives a good idea of my good fortune.

Thanks, RickO! I hope you find one in the wild (or even see a UFO) before you get abducted! ;)

The interesting thing is I never actively go searching for the "W" quarters - - they just fall into my lap as I check "P" vs "D" to help my friend, making for a nice surprise. I was amazed how good shape this latest one was in.

If you do get abducted while searching for a "W" ask them who killed Kennedy. Just in case you escape.

Some seem fated to never know the joy of finding a wild W quarter

I've only ever found one "W" in the wild and it was a great moment :)
It was also a tallgrass prairie, one of the best designs to come out of the ATB series imo...
