    You are correct.

Do you want to try for a follow-up? What do you estimate cash the value, and why?

@jonathanb 1 cent and because of condition now your turn .
What obsurd number did you think I was going to give this coin value and why?

These are quite plentiful and have little or no numismatic value. The more the misalignment the greater the value. Even if BU there is no interest in errors this slight. Still, it costs you only 1 cent to add to your collection.

    2.5 zinc, large (2) date 1982.
Coin looks like D estruction got the better of it.

See how sexy the style of this #2 is as you stare at it.
Forget your X go for 3.1 weight, copper bronze, D strong , delicate or just to be there for you.
No make up is perfect so its true color's will tell us everything.
Don't be shy go get one. LOL.
    Photo is zinc 1982 (small #2) D . for one in a set of 8 different 82's she's. cool.
Me ? I like um dirty.

Very neat find. Just because it's a low value coin doesn't mean it isn't interesting. It's rather dirty looking. What's the best way to clean it up without damaging it? Perhaps soaking it in olive oil for awhile?

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

While not of high value, it is an interesting anomaly, and I would keep it if I had found it in change or CRH'ing..... Cheers, RickO
