Is the pcgs expansion contributing to the grading delays?

I called pcgs regarding two of my submissions. The worst being received March 2nd and still in grading (well today some type of computer glitch and it’s back into receiving, someone already posted about this).
Two different pcgs representatives told me that in about two months pcgs is going to open an east coast operation in New Jersey (why nj is anyones guess).
I am wondering if the expansion is causing some of the grading delays everyone is experiencing.
Any thoughts?

Pcgs just doesn’t want to hire more employees to save costs. They would rather make their customers wait 6 months to grade 1 coin
Perhaps they are subcontracting to a well known NJ firm?? Just kidding.
I believe that nearly all orders are completed in much less time than that. And it wouldn’t be fair to other submitters to move an order up in the queue, just because it only has one coin in it.
Mark Feld* of Heritage Auctions*Unless otherwise noted, my posts here represent my personal opinions.
If PCGS hired additional staff to clear the back log, submission fees would likely increase and perhaps significantly so. Most people would rather wait a bit longer, and those that don’t can pay to submit at a higher tier.
NGC was originally located in Parsippany, NJ and moved to Sarasota, FL in 2002.
The turnaround times for regular service are too long (I have an order, received almost 3 months ago, still in scheduled for grading status) to sustain PCGS' business model. I am not renewing my collector's club membership until this is substantially improved.
And how are they opening a second office without hiring new people?
It looks like it is Jersey City, NJ.

The Delaware is for the sports. My post from other thread.
See:

In addition to the new funding and platform, Collectors also announced the launch of a secure vault platform and collection management service. Available this summer, the vault service will allow collectors to submit cards and collectibles for authentication and grading by PSA and transfer those items directly to a secure, 11,000-square-foot Delaware facility. Collectors will digitally manage submissions through Collectors.com by adding new items to the vault at any time or by offering items for sale through the Goldin marketplace.

DE is the vault.
NJ is card grading.
Don't see anything about coin grading in NJ.
Any time you hear about something coming soon, look for the job listings. Even if they aren't hiring graders, they still need support staff, like data entry people, shipping department people, etc. Reading the job descriptions will tell you all you need to know.

In looking at the link posted by lilolme there seems to be quite a number of openings at PCGS. This begs the question: Is all the hand-wringing here for naught?? Is PCGS just the same as every other business in America right now, having open positions that can't readily be filled as an after-affect of the Pandemic Shutdown?? Add to that the very specialized nature of coin grading and all that goes with it and we have arrived.......................where we are.
Dang! Had my hopes up.
I would save a few $ in registered mail coast to coast.
