Do you guys think this would straight grade? Getting in a bidding war and don't want to overpay too much.

Thanx!

It appears it will straight grade - but that is base on the images, as @MFeld said. Cheers, RickO

It's enormously difficult to evaluate surfaces and luster when photographed through a 2x2 (especially when slightly out-of-focus), but there aren't any glaringly obvious problems.

I was a little concerned about the toning thought it might have been dipped long ago.

    Thanxs everyone.

Nothing tells me it would not unless deceptive photos are being used. Wonder why I said that! 🤪

There is a good chance it would straight grade though I would not buy it myself. I don't like the damage on the obverse at around 1:00.

If the marks through TRUST are the only issue then, yes, I think it would straight grade. However, if there are dig marks through IN GOD WE as well, then it is dicey.

Yes, I believe it would straight grade. Not a coin I would go to "war" (bidding) over. Good luck.

If the issues over IGWT are superficial then I think it would straight grade. Awesome looking color on the reverse...

The question I always have is, why didn't the owner of the coin submit it for grading?

Hopefully the blotchiness is the plastic. My first impression was an old over-dip.
