Sorry, but it's only worth whatever your local dealers are paying for generic silver dollars.

    $25-ish.

Looks circulated and 1921 is a common date - millions and millions were made and many were fully preserved. You can purchase them uncirculated for ~60 to 80 dollars and not much more than that when graded MS60-something. So, unfortunately, this one is just cull value.
That said, 1921 is a special date in numismatics - last year of Morgan’s (first and last D) and first of the peace dollars. The 1921 peace dollar is much more valuable than the Morgan - because they only minted ~ million coins and are high relief.
    Best of luck!

My dealer is giving ~19-22 for circulated common date Morgan’s.

It's worth about the $23 to $25 range. The pictures are not great, but it appears to be a VF/XF coin.

@SpecGotCoins, what do YOU figure for a grade and value?

Your dealer is a crook. Wholesale on Fine/better pre-1921 Morgans is over $30.

I think it's a trick question. That is a fake dollar (look at the 9 in the date) and he's trying to screw with us because he's still mad at some of the comments received.

Has that rough look. Could be the photo or it's a cast fake.

Cull. Damaged surfaces. Base value circulated Morgan Dollar.

    All glory is fleeting.

Why is he a crook? If you are paying over $30 for a common date Morgan (especially something like what was posted) you are over paying.

You can ship them to wholesalers for $32. If you buy them at $20, you are trying to make $12 in each coin. That's criminal.

If I offered you $300 for your $500 coin, would you consider that a reasonable offer? If so, I'd like to buy your entire collection.

Sadly your prices are way too high. I’ll stick with my low cost dealers, I’ll let others overpay.

I also don’t think we are talking about the same thing, would you give more than $20 for that Morgan @jmlanzaf ?

That Morgan is a cull. I wouldn’t give $20 for that coin. If I got it for free I would hestitate.

Those aren't MY prices. I buy them at $28 because I do them to a wholesaler at $32. Don't try to make this about my sell prices. A good dealer should be fair on both sides of the transaction.

If your dealer is selling at $25, maybe he isn't a crook, he's just ignorant. But that isn't much better if you are selling rather than buying. Every person who sold him a F/ better pre-21 Morgan lost $6 to $9 PER COIN. That could be hundreds of dollars that they were underpaid.

Looks as if it could be a fake..... Would need better pictures. If not, certainly not worth more than the $25-$30 range. Cheers, RickO

On 11/5/2019, I bought this one for $24.00 from DLRC.

Thanks but I'll deal with my local store. You keep selling them for $32.

You really don't get it. But, whatever...

Just make sure you call me when you want to sell. Your local guy is going to kill you with those low ball offers.

Personally, I would never do business with someone who doesn't know the business. If he doesn't know the market value, what are the odds they can grade or identify a counterfeit.

Why would someone even send this in to be slabbed in the first place? Someone find this coin, post it on a coin forum asking whether they should send it in to be slabbed, ignore advice, and send it in anyway?

I was trying to be funny but that’s a great deal.
