"Honey, I Shrank the Coins . . . . "

Stoneridge Engineering - creators of the official "shrunken money" coins.
Using advanced physics and some self-destructive hardware, Stoneridge reduced these small dollar coins to the size of a nickel. A pretty amazing feat of enginering in itself.
I cannot explain the physics as well as the creator, so investigate the process for yourself. There is a very informative letter below that came with these pieces. They had tags stating that they were hit with 5,600 joules of energy
I'm just beyond ecstatic to have been able to pick these two up.
If you have any examples, post them up.

I have seen examples of shrunken coins before. This is the first I have read this detailed process. Seems expensive in power and loss of coil. Cheers, RickO
You get to see the shrunken quarter for a few seconds right at about 5 min in.

The guy goes to touch it only seconds after being zapped lol!

It’s always fun to read about these, but I’ve never seen one in real life.

Shrunken money? Sure. What else can you call it when fake plastic pennies are over 3x as valuable as real ones?
Really neat novelties. Thanks for sharing.

My mom had a pair of double eagle earrings she wore rime to time. It's a neat thing to see
I don’t know. I just can’t get my head around this shrinking process!
