Hi guys,
For all you guys who were interested and posted your special one coin to keep! Very appreciated!
Majority of the choices, including myself, were coins from their Fathers/Mothers/Grandparents/Family...
All sentimental coins.
This time guys. Can you make a final decision only based on value or favorite? I do recall some of you have done so, in my 1st thread. Thanks for participating. ;)

Here's my favorite coin.

It has to be my latest purchase from the Central States Show!

1811 Capped Bust "small 8" Half Dollar

I chose this coin over many other of my coins in my collection.
:D

The reason:

Beautiful
Historical
Variety
My Oldest
PCGS Certified
What's yours?
Thanks

"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.

I’ll go with this one, it’s the most scarce one in my collection being a CAM.

RickO, just Googled the coin and a brief history.
The sculptor is from Boston, huh?
    Bela Lyon Pratt
A friend of President Roosevelt, had suggested to place an "incuse" design on the high relief coin, shortly after Bela had died, in 1907.
Different than when Victor, wanted his initials on the Lincoln. David, was still living. It caused a big stir!
    Very interesting.

If I searched the world for a decade; I'd not find another choice1919-D like this. UNLESS, found in GEM. Everything else would be replaceable....BUT AT A HEAVY COST and likely the next grade up. I'm glad that I don't have to sell, though, as MUCH time, blood, sweat and tears were put into my set.

Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
