Never hurts to be lucky.

I bought these today at a local pawn shop because they looked high grade. I was hoping for at least a 66 maybe MS67.
Well, I get home and as typical they always look better in the store lighting. The best might go 65+ but wait a minute what's this!
Two of them (though they're not actually Wheat back as the label claims) are actually DDO FS-101.
I visited this store about a year ago and the owner showed me some very nice looking Mercury's he just had graded. He was upset because they looked very nice but were graded MS63/4. I think he lost interest at that point.
These three pics are the same coin the other isn't pictured. Then there are 2 or 3 more that have the fat "1" but no split on the "9" not sure what that's about. Then finally there are 4 more I did not buy that I'll have to go back and grab tomorrow.

Wow, my rolls of '59's are now worth $150 each? Awesome!

Well, only if you open a store front and have plenty of so-called collectors like myself walking through the doors 😁
Trying to think of a good story to share about coins and where I got lucky - ‘coins’ and ‘luck’ are two words that have not been found much together in my time - I do know of a few times where I thought I was lucky but ended up learning I was actually not...
.
and get bamboozled like i've done at one of my favorite b&ms. thankfully i've picked MORE than enough to cover my weak/silly moments and or falling in love with shiny things from the 20 or so bulbs surrounding the counter.
I need to put a loupe in the truck but had I had one I would have missed this one.
It happened again today, while out and about blindly buying proof sets and other goodies.
The first coin I check once home is one of the 38 different Kennedy DDO's. Not sure which one or even if it's one of the 3 PCGS recognizes but worth grading anyway.
@WAYNEAS What say you?
Tough from the pics as we need more areas shown as in designer initials: FG.
for it to be an FS 101
A short vertical die gouge can be found at the rim to the left of the R in LIBERTY. A short diagonal die scratch can be found to the right of the top of the Y in LIBERTY. Reverse: Flared G in FG.
It could be an FS 104 which I am leaning towards.
There are up to 22 different varieties listing for this coin.
Let us know what you come up with.

Kennedys are my quest...
