Is that what this is? It was emailed to me today with a question about its value and I have no idea.

    It's for sure not a die from the mint. Maybe made to make those foil covered chocolate candies? Hard to tell from the pictures whether it is incuse like a die should be.

    Looks like half of a casting mold.

    I see two channels, one to pour the metal and one to let the air out.

    There should be another half to the mold.
