Smallpox Morgan - What kind of AT is this?

I went to one of the small semi-local, monthly coins shows in my area and it was basically a bust. Rather then leave completely empty handed I picked up this Morgan for $32. I threw it in an extra capsule I had and before I could try to appreciate it... or second guess the purchase, a buddy who couldn't make the show in the AM with me liked it and wanted it. So I gave it up. In a previous thread I asked if anyone used E-Zest or MS-70 before to dip coins. I never did before but in the back of my mind knew this one vendor who attends this show had all these Morgans that looked like this before returning again. So the idea was lingering. Anyway, looking for thoughts on how this Morgan may have been toned? It did not appear original at all and actually reminded me of how as a kid we dyed Easter eggs with vinegar & oil to make spots on them.

I think if dipped, probably again, it would have a completely washed out. Probably was an AU hiding underneath the mess.
