It sounds like many of those items are easy to spot. More details on such items, especially photos, should be released.

Falcons is right across the street from my family's old bldg on Lincoln Ave. It used to be a good neighborhood. I would venture that there is plenty of camera info.

    Old Willow Glen.

    Have a nice day

Sorry to hear the low life's got away with this stuff.

It is happening everywhere; our local coin show had a dealer robbed when he stopped for dinner on his way home about an hour away from the show, they even took his suitcase with his clothes, cleaned him out of everything he had, he said he is done!

Wow... and it is mentioned that there have been several similar burglaries. Looks like a focused effort and they likely have a disposition resource for that type of material. Shop owners be advised. Cheers, RickO

sounds like it was looked over by a scout for the crooks, then they knew what to get and at what time to do the robbery so this was a planned robbery

Look for new sellers on eBay.

That's another argument for casual sellers to not do coin shows; years ago when I did them displaying lots of precious metals, sales just did not justify my bringing them, rarely are you going to get VIPs with wads of $100 bills to buy at a coin show and if so they will look for low prices. One CT show was getting suspicious people with jaundiced looks coming in and following dealers afterwards.

three steps that are simple to avoid issues

one-use common sense (don't draw notice to yourself)

two- keep at all times aware of your surroundings (look, listen and learn)

three- think like those around you do (very useful in dealing with the public)

it amazes me how many people never follow these rules and then wonder why they got targeted cause they drew notice to themselves, never were watching their surroundings and didn't think like the people around them were

Plus, you don't want to flash a lot of money or valuables around the public, any one of whom could be a potential thief. Last week I was at the post office where a TV personality was asking about registered mail and what he needed to ship something registered with a lot of value? He could have easily gotten the answer online or with a phone call. Discretion is a vital rule of avoiding thefts.

    And my advice

always carry a gun and be ready to use it.

rule #1 is rarely followed as well as the rest and that lands people in messes that could be avoided
