A Nostalgic NEWP

These strongly remind me of when I was a kid, when this coin was minted, I was 11 years old. I remember buying these in the 1/20 and 1/10 sizes.
I picked it up today for $98. I couldn’t resist it.
Post a coin that’s nostalgic for you…

Nice Panda.... For me, nostalgic coins are Morgans. My Dad, who was not a coin collector, always had five or six Morgans in his top bureau drawer. They were magical to me as a kid. I guess that is why I like them so much to this day. Cheers, RickO

Bi-centennial Washington quarters. I don’t have any pictures of mine but we all know them. I began saving them after my Dad pointed out to me they were the only design change since the 1930s. This is how I started collecting. I saved Buffalo nickels and old cents when I came across them as a kid also.
