How well does your iPhone work on coin photos?

Within the next couple hours, I'll be getting an iPhone and I just wanted to see what photos they take of coins... Please post 'em if you got 'em!

Don't have an iPhone.
Android, and it's payable.
I hear they do ok. I have the ability to not use it do I don't. I hear the white balance, focus, and clarity are fairly good, which lines up with my experiences taking quick shots for fun with my iPhone. However, the resolution is much poorer than I like for images. Just my opinion, it will do for about 95% of all coin photography needs.

I used to have an iPhone 8 and now use a 13 mini. All my pictures are from my phone. Here are some.

You're a YN as well, correct? Well, I'm about to grow out of being a YN, heading out to college in the fall. I do a little dealing and flipping in coins and a couple other areas that I have interest in. I save some of this money, invest some, and buy coins because that's my passion. But it doesn't matter what your budget is, as long as you enjoy what you purchase.
BTW, that draped bust quarter, even though it's in G-4, is worth just as much if not more as the quarter ounce platinum

Those are better coin photos than my Galaxy takes. It takes great pics of everything else but just not when it comes to coins.

as much as i harp on about old iphones STILL having the juice to get it done, how could i NOT post a few pics. tbh, this is pretty minimal effort on my part and i do my lovely iphone 6s a grave disservice posting them given my paltry effort.
Here’s some of the ones I took with iPhone 12pro

I have an iPhone 7 and it is hit or miss with my pics.
I feel that is lighting issues and not the camera issues that provide me with semi good pics.
I am not skilled enough to take exceptionable pictures.

Kennedys are my quest...
I have an I-phone 12 pro as well. Unlike all the other coin pictures I have posted on the forum...every one of these in this thread was with my phone.

.
hands-down
I just got a 13 and my wife got a 13 max pro. Meaning I retired my 6S+.
So far, I don't like the 13. The 13 max pro was quick and easy, but right now I already miss my 6S+. It seemed to be a little more "in hand". To be fair, I too subscribe to the "lighting issues and not camera issues" line of thinking and have far more time vested in the 6S+. We'll see.
Quick 6S+ vs. 13 Pro Max comparison.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

Fantastic
My iPhone is very much hit or miss, and mostly miss!

My SE takes great pics. I take lazy pics.

Great pics overall.
I’m still playing around with my iPhone X. Sometimes I’m stunned with my pics, other times, not so much. Seems to be all about lighting more than anything else.

a lil post-processing can go miles. just cropped and sharpened maybe 30%. (so i say that just so people don't put the whole load on lights and cameras. presentation counts for a good part, not that they always need cropped, enhanced etc.
pretty nice results. i bet even an iphone 4 is pretty decent. (some people use them for very nice youtube videos)!!!!
the camera was literally the only reason i switched from android but i ended up using it as an actual phone eventually and for a lot of other things. pretty snappy for such outdated tech.
