Hi all,

Recently the 7070 Registry added the 50 Commemoratives to the coins needed. Since I didn't have one, I purchased one, but I wanted one that had some meaning to me. Since San Diego is one of my favorite places, I got one that commemorated the San Diego exposition.

Please try to guess the grade. I'll post the grade in 36 hours. 5/6 around 8PM.

I’ll go with 64. It’s hard to judge the luster so I’ll err on the optimistic side.

Nice looking commemorative half.... Not familiar with this particular design... so torn between high AU and low MS.... Really cannot settle on a grade for that one. Cheers, RickO

Solid strike, some marks and questionable luster. 64

Look at the outer edge of the rims... This never circulated.

I'll go with MS64 too, but these days it could be MS65.

I really don't like that scratch under America, so I'm at Unc Details Obverse Scratched. If not, I could see a net at around 62 or so. I'm a bit nervous throwing this out there when I'm so far off everyone else's guess :flushed:

No scratch as that's a mountain range and part of the design elements.

Now I see it, it looked so much brighter and different than the rest of the design I assumed it was a scratch. I briefly considered it being a design element but I just thought it was too bright. I'll go with 64 then. Thanks!

    Solid 64 and possible 65.

Is there a possibility of counting wheel damage thru the top of TES OF and below UNI. If so Details Uncirculated.
    Beautiful coin regardless.
