Environmental "damage"
That’s the ‘LSD Flashback’ variety—I know some of you have had first hand experience with that

There seems to be some original surface on the obverse in the center of the coin, so I'd say it was stored in a paper roll in a chemically-exposed environment.

I agree with the others regarding heat or possible environmental damage. Throw it up on IG for $75 and see what happens. 😈🤣
