I opened two 1977 Topps Star Wars series 1 packs a short while back. The packs came from our Forum Group box break here that occurred a couple years ago or so.

Well I hit a beautiful #1 Luke Skywalker Wookie!! I mean ROOKIE!!! Now back from grading.

    Awesome. Have two packs from that break. The packs have wear like yours and I have considered opening as well. Congrats on the Skywalker. Looks like it could have graded an 8.5. With only 66 cards odds are decent with 2 packs at getting one of the keys.

    I have my beat up cards from when I was a kid - but they are all Series 3. Must have been the series they had at the corner drug store after I saw the movie.

    @brad31 - good luck if you open!! If you do, I hope the centering hangs in there for you as these packs were pretty nice. I opened 2 others that were not from this break that weren't so snazzy. May the force be with you!!
