    Looks like it was cast in beach sand. IMO.

    What they said, plus the mint mark is wrong and the date numerals don't line up.

    It's a case of when you've seen authentic enough the fakes like this just pop out and are obvious. The details are all wrong. Probably not even silver and wouldn't pass the basic diagnostic tests of weight and density.

    It might stick to a magnet.
    If it does, then it is not made of the proper silver of a genuine coin.
