The Central States Numismatic Show (CSNS) that previously was here...
Hi guys,
Well, You've heard and seen from my Report and others. Mostly, the good parts. The positive. Concerning the show itself and sales, buys and atmosphere.
Now, here comes the bad news. At least, from me personally. Nothing concerning the show and people/dealers. Just me. Lol
Well, I had to sell one of my cherished coins. Sure, I didn't really HAVE to sell it. But I figured it was time.
Plus, I could use the extra cash. Esp. to purchase what I purchased.
1811 Capped Bust Half
My Cost, $250
In which, I am very happy with.
Here's what I had to sacrifice!
1955 ms 65 FBL Bugs Bunny
The good part about the departure. Besides adding a new series coin. I paid a total of $150. Included are the PCGS grading/variety attribution fees for the Bugs Bunny. I sold it for $300! A $150 profit. I did try for weeks, to sell for $400-$500. No bites. I do realize I could of put it on the bay or an auction house. Didn't want to deal with their fees and premiums.
Oh well, goodbye Bugs!
It's all good, thanks.

Smart move!
I wouldn't call it bad news; what you did is natural and happens with many of us. Besides the few with unlimited funds, most of us need to raise money for new purchases. One of the ways to do that is by selling another piece that no longer speaks to you (or that you can sacrifice for something nicer).
Nice color on a 55 is hard to find, but I think you did well selling it for $300.
This Color Rocks Too!

When it happens, hopefully it is a favorable experience - yours appears to be that type. Cheers, RickO
