Capped bust 1838 quarter

I posted before but the photos weren’t that great I wondering if its real or not I apologize for not making it a clickable link. The option wasn’t working. Front: https://flic.kr/p/2nhjX6d and the reverse: https://flic.kr/p/2nhmfZv
Any help/feedback would help a lot

Nvm the links work lol
Looks genuine to me, and a nice circulated example
Also forgot to mention what would be the value if the coin is legit.
well it looks like a Fine grade retail around 100 to 120 I would guesstimate (based on Numismedia posted prices). you can look on ebay sold listings to see what similar examples actually sell for.
Nice coin. Welcome to the forum. Here's your coin for all to see w/o leaving forum.

Cool, that one has some decent meat left on it, I like
It looks like a genuine, but processed coin to me that has been stripped and then darkly processed. Not for me.

LanceNewmanOCC and Jesbroken I appreciate your help with the pictures.
Not a fan of how bright the high points are compared to the fields, as well as the "halo" effect around the devices - definitely messed with at one point or another.
Still a nice circulated Capped Bust Quarter, so it has value. Unfortunately not as much as an original piece.

Really like the Capped Busts. Only have 3 though (1819 quarter, 1832 dime, and 1832 Half).

ah crap.
i see you uploaded the better images way before i did. it is amazing how many times leaving threads open w/o updating them causes duplicate efforts. not a big deal but i really gotta start refreshing more.
nj on the presentation!
This usually happens to me. By the time I prepare the photos someone else has already did the deed. lol

Looks like a VG details coin that was cleaned at some point. Not a bad piece for an album coin. Enjoy!
