Machine doubling, die deterioration, or Doubled Die?

What's throwing me is the uneven bottom of the letters. Typically machine doubling would be the same length as the intended strike area. I'm only seeing it on RTY and 1.
Thanks!

I'm leaning that as well. None other like it in a supposed original roll. Some do have machine doubling but those few are running clockwise.
I think DDD as well, but that one made me pause for a little bit. Much more convincing than other posts that we normally see about stuff like this.

I would agree with die deterioration... Interesting specimen though. Cheers, RickO
