When brand new, warnix had a fairly decent silver color. Somebody may have tied to pass this off as a quarter. Later, as it circulated, it looked like this.

I have it in hand today. I checked for minor doubling but did not see anything. Still cool to have. Here are some close ups. The reeding is mostly well done with only a few odd angles.

Looks like a self made grooving or carving tool of some type for woodwork, perhaps leather. What's left of the rim looks worn, rounded down from use.
