All great coins in this thread.
There are only two "+" graded die trials in the entire Pioneer (Territorial) arena including California.
One of them is a 1861 copper $2.50 Clark-Gruber in PCGS MS64+BN.
Here is my only "+" grade: 1860 copper $20 Clark-Gruber Die Trial ("Pyramid") PCGS MS63+BN.
A few years ago, I bought this 1895 Indian Cent in an old MS64RB soapbox ANACS holder, with the RPD variety on the label. When I crossed it to a PCGS holder it came back MS64+RB but without the variety, because I thought that made the label look cluttered and I didn't really care about Indian Cent varieties, especially since I couldn't see the RPD even with a loupe. The color and luster were amazing, but the strike looked mushy, so I again turned to eBay to get rid of it at a small profit. Today, the cert verification shows the RPD variety. Somehow, the cert number didn't change after the new owner sent it in for reconsideration. Wouldn't you know, it came back top-pop in RB for the variety! I'm sure the current owner loves it more than I did. It still looks mushy. Edited for spelling and clarity.
My second post to this thread, the first a 1897 67+ Liberty nickel, and now the second proof of the same year.
I bought the Morgan from a dealer knowing it did not CAC, I'm assuming it was the reverse that fell short of CAC standards.
