If you're planning to go to the June Baltimore show...
Just a heads up that hotel rooms near the convention center will be in short supply (and expensive) that weekend, apparently because Paul McCartney is playing Camden Yards that Sunday.

Happened to me for a Kansas City show due to some religious brotherhood group in the city. Checked on several hotels, motels. I was 50 miles south of KC, made my last stop at some motel ran by some hispanics and all he said was, "We booked! Got back in the car and told the wife and kids, say goodbye to KC and hello Arkansas.

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!

It was an experience like this that taught me to always book in advance, even if it is more expensive.
Mind boggling. I still remember vividly 2-9-'64.
Prior planning prevents painfully poor performance. So book and plan now, so we can enjoy your comprehensive show reports. Cheers, RickO
One of those times I feel grateful to be a 75ish minute drive north.

It was always tough enough when there was a Ball game the same weekend. Given the beating hotels took due to the pandemic I can't even imagine how much they will be asking for rooms! My wallet is glad I have no plans to attend!
Hey thanks for giving a heads up.
Wow - coin show and Paul. Great combo. Can't wait.
I wish I could stay for the concert, but no way I’m leaving my coins in the hotel room or bringing them to Camden Yards.

I live 2 hours from Baltimore and have a brother that lives about 15 minutes from the convention center. Perhaps THIS is the year I take my son....
I've seen your stuff, I'll take care of 'em.

I am disappointed that there is no onsite grading at this show.

Your worried about onsite grading while I am worried about locating good seats for Paul's concert, some Bust Capped Dimes and a hotel room! LOL.
Yes.
Literally drove 1100 miles round trip for the Baltimore show earlier this month just to have my coins graded on-site because that was the main motivation for me. :wink2:
Hotel rooms can be found fairly easily in and around a certain radius of that city whereas there are still plenty of resale tickets for Paul McCartney show that is on 12th, the day after the coin show ends.

As for Bust Capped dimes - all I can do is wish you the best.
