Can you pay Stack’s Bowers with all change?

I am thinking about bidding on a coin worth approximately $2,000 - $2,500. Can we pay by mailing Stack’s Bowers a bunch of change? I coin roll hunt and have a bunch of Pennie’s/nickels/quarters/half dollars sitting around. What are your thoughts?

Their Ts&Cs indicate they accept cash at their discretion. So, contact them and let us know what they say.

I think a trip to the bank 1st would be the right thing to do

If they take cash I guess we are good to go!

Yes you can pay them with all change...... they won't spend the money for return postage. ;)

Can you imagine the money you are going to spend in shipping face value coins for your little prank?
Not to mention the inconvenience you will cause the auction house.

You have to admit, it would look bad for a coin company to turn down coins in payment.

I think it would look worse for the buyer than the auction company. How much more difficult (if at all) and less costly would it be to redeem the change and send the seller a check?

I'm guessing they'll be gone sometime tomorrow. :D

Please put all that change in your car and fill it with gas. Then drive the long way to their office and then put the change in baggies and double park( so you can maybe you can get a ticket or even better, towed!
    That would show em.
And guess what, they don’t have to sell to you.

But better, your going to get banned and who knows what else.

But wait…the op has over 350 posts. I thought that made them one of the cool people. Not like someone just starting out with 15 posts. Some of us (me, thisa guy) are more interested in lurking and don’t post much.

Is it possible that nearly every question has already been answered in the 21 years I have been here? 🤔

That's just the ones originating the threads. Rest of the problem are those that pile on thinking they are being so funny (but really aren't...)

Please do the right thing…common sense is not so common anymore
Why make life difficult for someone else? I am certain they would accept your coins and then all shake their heads in befuddlement…

Sorry. What the heck are you talking about. .
    1. There’s some fairly funny posts.
    2. Who made you the great desider of what’s funny.
    3. Personally I feel the OP is getting off easy.
Thanks sir but I’m perfectly capable of posting without your thoughts although I’ll defend your right to have them. 😉🙀🦫

    1. Not really
    2. You say I don't get to speak my mind? Seems you want to but are telling me I can't.
    3. That's your view. I'm not telling YOU what to think, so why tell me? You certainly aren't defending my right to have my own thoughts.

People can go ahead and do what they want...only arbiter is PCGS...but if someone makes a comment, and I agree with it, isn't that my right? Or, you just feel like it is cool to come and reply to me in the way you did (#2 in your points)?
Or, are you just upset because you had already posted and you thought you were funny (but, honestly, you weren't)?

I think the panda at the DC Zoo is pretty cute and cool.

I think the panda here at the PCGS Zoo is not much more than a fly that like to make multiple passes over a dog turd to check freshness (and post counts).
