    Yes.

It initially hurts and you feel stupid but what can you do. Big or small, it always sucks. I’ve had a couple small ones over these many years. Nothing that I minded or was hurt by too much but you certainly never forget.

PS - Use goods and services - the first time, at the very least - with anyone. Always, always worth it.

About a year ago, my mom was contacted by a scammer through email, and she was scammed out of $100, the guy was from some foreign country, and it was the Google Play card scam. The scammer will ask you to go buy a $100 Google Play card from Walgreens and scratch off the code in the back and text him or email him the code and they make up excuses as to why they need the cards. She had already bought the card and I found out about it right before she scratched the back off, so the scammer never got the code from the card because I intercepted the card. So, I ended up texting the guy, and cussing him out and threatening him, he was quite surprised when I contacted him, and I wish I could have gotten my hands on him, I despise scammers.

Here is what the email looks like with the Google Play card scam, they also do Apple I tunes card scams, it's basically the same scam, they want you to buy the card, scratch the code off the back, and text or email them the code. If the scammer is feeling bold, he'll ask you to buy more than one card, and they tell you it's an emergency or make up some reason why they need the cards. This is an email sent to someone in 2018.

I got scammed back in 2020 by a seller in Spain who I had done business with about 15-20 times beforehand. I really liked the condition on this '86 Merchante Jordan that looked better than my PSA 6 that I sold during the Bulls "Last Dance" bubble.

I paid roughly $150 using F&F,which I had done about a handful of times before, and like a week later was when the US shutdown everything due to Covid. After about 2-3 months of waiting I asked my local post office to check to see if the package had even entered the country yet. Turns out the seller didn't enter my correct shipping info and the card got shipped back to Spain where its sat in some storage facility permanently. I made the seller aware there was a mistake on the shipping info and he kept telling me he'd go get it on his day off. He eventually just kept stringing me along then started ignoring my once a month messages for an update.
Ultimately it wasn't much money lost but added with other things that were souring me with this hobby was enough to just walk away from collecting for awhile. One of my last purchases was to buy a different copy of the same card and that one arrived with a huge crease across Jordan's face lol. :#

I went snipe hunting when I was a sophomore in High School and hanging out with some juniors.

And I also got married. jk.

I know what you mean, this hibby can be a real headache, about 6 months ago I found a rare boxing card on ebay Italy, and I purchased it, it turns out the idiot put the wrong shipping info on the package and the package was returned to him. I've sent him numerous messages and he still hasn't responded, so I just hit him with a negative feedback and let it go. It's frustrating!

This world has really deteriorated lately, our bad habits have rubbed off on the animal kingdom, they are now scamming people. Beware of all ducks, they use their cute duckling children to lure you in, and then they make their move on your wallet or purse!

I've been fortunate enough to be married to one woman, but I've seen what ex-wives are capable of, they take you to the cleaners and leave you looking like this!
