Venezuela Topps

Does anyone collect Venezuela Topps or Venezuelan Winter League Stickers? They are super tough to find and even hard to find in vg/ex or higher condition. Condition sensitive because they were stuck to albums and the climate in Venezuela.

I have a few. Mainly 1966 Jim palmer. I have three of them. I think I have a psa 4.
1964 rose is one to have.
These would be ok if they took the pens away from the youngsters!
I have all of the Cubs from 1959. 1960, 1962, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, and the 1972 and 1977 Stickers other than the 1959 Cream Back Tony Taylor and the 1972 Sticker of Jose Cardenal, I don't think the Cardenal exists.
Here are a few of mine. I'll pick up some of the Reds when I find them in decent shape.
The ‘77 Bench is pristine for a Venezuelan sticker!

I have all of Banks' from 59-68. Also have a few other random ones I've picked up along the way.
JoeBanzai I don't think I've seen any 6s that old of stars before, those are great. Congrats!
Those are high grades for Venezuela Topps cards. I always liked the wood grain
on the ‘62’s.
Swish - love those Banks cards. Have his Topps run and would love to add those someday. Those look amazing together. Congrats on putting together an impossible run.
Thanks for the compliment! I am also working on a Banks run. Only need his 1971 OPC and I'll have every Topps, Venezuelan, and OPC from '54-71.
Good luck finding your ‘71. Would love to see a picture of them all together when you complete it.
Thanks!
I think I got a couple of generous grades.
That 62 has paper loss on the front and rounded corners. In fact, the corners are rounded yet brown, looks to me like they are recolored. Have you looked at that closely?
Yes, not recolored.
I was pretty surprised at the grade on the '62. It was graded quite some time ago and I think they were easier on them back then.
With all the times I have been hammered on grades....................I'll take this one!
Nice cards guys...mine are very poor condition, but I love 'em. Just need the two 59 Mick varieties to complete the run.
Also
That Carew looks real sharp! Hopefully no paper loss on the back!
Nope, back is intact! I also have a 68 Bob Gibson and (2) 68 Willie Mays at PSA. I’ll share those when I get them back!
I’m working on the 1964 set. @swish54 you forgot to show your 64 Banks. Here’s mine:

#1 John Hannah master set
Also collecting Andre Tippett, Patriots Greats' RCs, Dwight Evans, 1964 Venezuelan Topps, 1974 Topps Red Sox
For a kid that grew up in the 60s and 70s it's hard to find a card with better star power. I'm sure there's a lot nicer than this one, but this has some pretty good players.
I had a 66 Venz Palmer RC PSA 5, but I sold it recently. Here is my only current Venezuela card, a very tough one to find.
That is a great looking card that is high grade for a Venezuelan Topps card. I agree three MLB legends on one card is priceless.
Pardon my ignorance but how do you differentiate that the 1960 is a Venezuelan?
Thanks for keeping me honest! lol It wasn't next to the others on my computer.
Different card stock. Both the front and back look much more faded, almost like comparing the surface of a late-80s Tiffany card to a sheet of construction paper. For comparison, here's Topps and Venz 1960 Brooks.
i do, all my panamanian players have a Venezuela Topps........!!

It’s in my grading pile. Waiting for prices to drop.
That Carew is SWEET!
Thanks for the explanation.
Nice one!

rugbymarine……congrats on your 1960 Venie Brooks Robinson. It is familiar to me as I was the owner of that card a number of years ago. I was the one who had it graded and it was in my 1960 Venie set until I found an upgraded card for my set, then sold this one. Enjoy the card…..1960 Venies are fun to collect and are great cards.
Collect primarily 1959-1963 Topps Baseball
set registry id Don Johnson Collection

There are a few high grade cards in the REA auction. I have a few placeholder bids in.
Just got these back from PSA. Wanted to share these with the group! Any other new Venezuelan pick ups by folks?
Wow, amazing cards! I recently got back from PSA a 29 card group of Venies, including several HOFers, but nothing as nice as those. Haven’t had a chance to scan, but I can post a couple quick phone pics.

Those are some high grade cards. Did you buy the Mays raw directly from Venezuela?
Dan those are some great cards!
Thanks for sharing your passion / journey through the land of 64 Vennies!

I purchased each of those on eBay. The PSA 5 was a Buy It Now; it sat in my cart for a few weeks as I looked it over. Finally pulled the trigger and glad I did. I think I even used eBay bucks on it (damn I miss those). The Gibson and PSA 1.5 Mays were tampabaycard auctions
Wow, that is an amazing 1968!!!
On the 1972 ones, the PSA 1 is a real/authentic card, but the PSA 5 is a modern counterfeit
@miwlvrn
You are correct. That is why I had the PSA 1.

Edited to add: Thanks for the compliments on the 1968 Venezuelan Rookie.

My newest pick up. It was on eBay for a few days before the seller took it down. I messaged the seller and we worked out a deal .
beautiful!
How much is the ryan psa 5 worth? PSA says $15,000 but that sounds really low to me.
