I know how much certain members enjoy commenting on gold coins. I did a swap for this coin. A bunch of barn stuff that someone coveted. I figure this coin is worth a couple hundred. It's circulated and I like it. Enjoy. Peace Roy

AU50. Cleaned based on the many hairlines. At least it's authentic.

It's worth more than a "couple hundred".

AU details cleaned. Melt value alone is worth between $450 and $500.

53-55, but I don't think its been cleaned, looks kinda like what you'd expect would happen to gold when it has circulated.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

@Namvet69 .... Nice old gold coin Roy... Definitely hairlines, but features are well defined. Sure worth more than a 'couple hundred'.... That would be a keeper IMO. Cheers, RickO

I'm seeing AU details as well. As others have stated, definitely worth more than a "couple of hundred dollars"... with gold over $1900/oz... more like $450-500 in melt value alone.
