It appears to have nice embossing, partial bill, less than 49% intact?

That is a heck of a parking lot find for sure!
If that nose of his hadn't got a down wind sniff of it first, it would have went down a storm drain for sure :D

The best cash find I ever found was a Twenty Dollar bill, the problem is about 10 years early I had fretted and worried over losing a $20.00 Bill, Yep I found it 10 years later in one of my old lunch boxes, and as soon as I saw it I remembered putting it in there :D

@ifthevamzarockin... Now that is a great find.
@alpha33 ... Nice find... I found the same thing some years back...five twenties with a rubber band around them... In a mall parking lot... I parked in a corner slot (crowded that day) and there it was, by my front, driver side wheel when I got out.

Best I ever did was a $20 bill in an old paperback book. The book got stuffed into a bookcase and I pulled it out to read it probably years later. I likely got it at the local transfer station "swap shop" where you could leave books and other useable stuff for people to take.

    That's the $100 question. :D

    1) Buy a coin..... free coins are always great! :)

    2) Buy some ammo..... if you're just gonna blow it it's fun to blow someone else's money. 45-70 is $50 a box of 20 ;)

    3) Buy dinner for a week.

Congratulations. I have experienced the miss placed and forgotten $100.
As a matter of fact it is responsible for returning me back and is the first $ spent on the restart of my hobby.
$100 is a really nice amount as there’s everything from D.Carr to US coins from the 1800’s , nice moderns etc. ase’s are in that price range. Not to mention it might be handy as a discount for something else.
    Have fun. 😉🙀🦫

Well done. My best find was $20. Was at a fast food restaurant. Went to the drive through, ordered, received and the order was not correct. Had to park and go inside to get it corrected. $20 bill on floor on way in. So the incorrect order paid off.

I always flip through old books for various "treasures" people left there. Historically it was a popular place to hide/store things.

When I was at the flea market a week ago a book dealer was telling me about how they were looking at the used books at their local Savers store and in the middle was $4000 cash in 100 bills. He kept it after telling Savers about his amazing find. After that that Savers now makes sure to check all books for anything inside them before putting them out on the store shelves. Fortunately signed books still get missed and those can still be found!

The book dealer told me the book likely came from someone cleaning out an old lady’s books after she died and hiding cash in books was a common hiding place years ago.

The most money I ever found was $40 (two twenty’s) and it was found while I was walking. That was probably about ten years ago.

It is as long as it is not inside a thick black wallet attached to a chain and a belt attached to a biker-looking dude with a goatee and a bad attitude.
