Forgot I had this one, found in pocket change a while back. Look good enough to grade?

    A circulated proof?

What grade are you shooting for?

based on the pcgs price guide, as of today, if you think you can hit a 68+ or a 69, i say go for it! but in reality, to shoot for those grades, it is hit or miss, no gray area. you make or you break.

if you don't have a membership and you don't want to wait 2-4 months, one coin, round trip, will run you around $200. the price guide for a 69 is only $250.

Value of your coin in a slab: <$3.00.

I see a few small marks that would keep it from a high grade. Save your money.

No circulated proof is going to hit that number

But still fun to find in pocket change.

I grade the coin 63, for what it's worth. Generally these need to be at least 68 and usually DCAM to grade. Buy a graded one, it'll be faster and cheaper.

Not worth grading. Nice enough to save though. Buy a little box, label it "cool coins" and keep it out of your pocket.

Start a nickel album. Nice looking coin, but will not grade high enough to justify cost. Cheers, RickO
