Is this a very old religious medal?

Has anyone ever came across a medal of this type? It appears to be silver, irregular shape and thickness, such as an ancient coin may appear. Maybe it could be a US silver quarter that has been stamped again? From what I recall it’s slightly smaller than a quarter. I will try to get a better picture next time I visit. My mom has had it forever, unsure how she acquired it.

I believe it is modern and produced in mass quantities. I’ve seen many, many of them and imagine that there are likely dozens for sale on Etsy and eBay right now.
Very modern piece. You see jars of them by the cash registers in Hallmark shops and gift shops.
They might call them Pocket Angels or something. I've seen them advertised.
Not saying that it is definitive match, but here is an example of a "angel pocket charm" that appears to be similar. This one is made of pewter.
That's it exactly.
I've visited Danforth Pewter. A nice operation there.
I have found similar in the coinstar reject slot. White metal, not silver. Cheers, RickO
Thank you very much for the research, that’s an exact match. You’re the best !
