1943 Ireland Half Crown

I have gone in and out of doing an Irish modern set in high grade ever since I lived in Ireland in 2014-2016.
I sold the set off to an Irish collector but keep getting back in for one reason or another. I had the chance to buy a key date in top condition (MS65) this month so I guess I’m really back doing this set. I’ve got maybe 30 coins thus far with a half being tough early dates and the balance being later dates in high grade.
Now to decide if I should add the proofs… and if you have a BU 1943 Florin im your guy.

Are there still only 4 BU 1943 florins known? http://www.irishcoinage.com/X00017.HTM
Good luck on your quest!

Per Del Parkers email the other day, yes.

Now that that is settled, now to decide if I should add a set of Morbiducci Provas, and if so I’d have to do it in all metal compositions.
This fun side set is getting expensive!!

I had a 43 Half Crown, but it was only a VG. When I sold I was only missing the 43 florin to have a complete set of Irish up to the mid 70's. I had a nice mix of better grades but nothing like what you are doing! Nic Coin!
Of course you should, but no need to get every die alignment for each.

You're taking all the fun out of it!
Congrats man! Looking forward to seeing your sets come together. As long as I can be #1 in Irish Shillings you can be #2
