My personal favorite coin cabinet is from the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna Austria, also known as the Vienna Coin Cabinet, which arose from the Hapsburg collection, one of the 5 largest coin collections in the world, with more than 600,000 pieces. I visited this several years ago. Great museum with lots to see, but sadly, I was almost alone on the coin collection wing. I'd like this coin cabinet, please.

I don't recall the dates exactly, but from the website, it appears they are earlier than that and during the reign the Archduke Ferdinand II (1529-1595), son of the emperor, ruler of Tirol, which is more in line with my recollection. He had more than one but this was the only one in the Vienna Coin Cabinet. There are others at Ambras Castle.
