This sticker crap is ridiculous. What’s next?
I agree. I think what's next would be a slab that will both holder the previous slab and sticker. Then someone can sticker the new slab and cycle can repeat. Cracking out coins is going get a little more difficult. The hammer and saw industry is where you want to invest in.

It worked once before. Who would have thought that people would throw fistfuls of money to pay a dealer money to review their coins, cherry pick them, and put a sticker on items that he might possibly buy at wholesale (CDN bid) if offered to him in the future?

Great summary of the sticker mania.

It's still staggering to realize some collectors fell for the sticker marketing. Definitely at the top of PCGS's ingenious marketing plans!
Two things:
CAC ≠ PCGS.
It is still staggering to realize some collectors don't understands what a CAC sticker means to the coin in the slab. It goes way beyond a marketing plan, which is ingenious in terms of value to the collector. But that is for a different thread.....................................

Need a scratch sticker. If a 6 or less on the 10 point scratch-o-meter, I can deduct the reholder fee from what I'm willing to pay.
Why didn’t I think of that!
PS. Steven has some skills.
Spectacular post, absolutely spectacular. Tremendously well done. It's been 20 minutes and I'm still laughing.
The "CACA" sticker posts from past days were good but this one is fantastic.
