The description of the weight on the million dollar bill is amusing:
One quarter pound (4 troy ounces)
Assuming the 4 troy ounces is correct, it’s either a third of a troy pound, or pretty substantially in excess or of a quarter avoirdupois pound.
In spite of the confusing description, it’s somewhat refreshing, since the intent was apparently not to deceive, as is it often the case with these things.
Looks like someone got fleeced. I hope it was their own idea.
