1999 p penny wide am

I have a 1999 wide am penny. To me it looks like it’s in good condition. Do you think it’s worth getting graded?

My vote is yes. I would grade any variety that is MS and hard to find. But not the 1998 or 2000 wide AM.
Show this please. It helps.
Dial it in better. this means close
I hope this helps.
I'm finding that this is a very tricky strike (the FG) whenever I encounter a close or wide. per The Lincoln Resource Center website, Your photo's are good but to have your head 100% cleared or answered go to this website for your answer.

They are right on top of this subject. 3 clicks and it's right in front of you.
This photo is a close up of your above photo's FG.

Looks like a winner! I was expecting like so many others to see roadkill. But yours is nice, and it looks to be the real deal.
Congrats

i sent two in for grading. A ‘98 and a ‘99. AU58 on the ‘99. And yours is much better. But a warning: grading won’t get you variety attribution. That is an add on service. ( i just sent them back for that)
Nice one.
I think pcgs owes you on the non-attributed coins
There are pcgs coin numbers for them and pcgs should have assigned the right coin number. Obviously they didn’t.

The poster’s coin is definitely a wide am
Here is PCGS’ CoinFacts page for the non-variety
Note the coin number difference

it is after midnight, way after, so maybe i'm missing something but the person above you i think means that WAM for the 99 isn't automatically added, like with some varieties. any coin with a coin number under the + sign, is a pay-for service.
i didn't see a regular 99 WAM coin number where basic attribution would be free.
it looks like the hunt is ON for the first 1999 D WAM !!!!!!!!!
I'll have to get back into the AM searches.
Has been a while.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you guys sooner. Thank you for your responses. I will get it graded and let you know. Since I’m new to this I’ll have to learn how to get graded!
.
as hard as it may be, i'd recommend holding off until you can find ANY other decent coins to help average out the cost. i did a quick search and this is a nice premium coin, depending on 65/66/67, it could be a little, could be a lot BUT if you don't have the membership already, one coin will run $200 +/- round-trip, depending on a few factors. no need to bury that much cost into this coin, even if it were the higher end. (i wouldn't send this one economy unless you want to risk waiting several months) subsequent orders will not be so costly as you'll have the membership for a year.
TBH, when i have a nice coin like this and really am confident i have the grade dialed in and/or value, i'm not beyond sending items like this express ship so it spends less time in the mail and to help speed up the process. impatient not really, just using the options available to achieve a certain goal. has worked out wonderfully. nothing like a thorough, accurate analysis.
i've sent single coins off but i had my systems refined and memberships already purchased, so it was a lot more profit into my pocket and/or equity to stay with the coin.
