    Approximately AU53, if straight graded, but an “AU details, cleaned” verdict wouldn’t bother me.😉

    I agree with all of you...
    I purchased it on ebay. I thought the price was fair. It'll simply be a Dansco type coin. I do like the reverse color and perhaps the coin isn't so bright in person.

    Can’t go wrong for $40 but I wouldn’t describe the reverse as beautiful rainbow toning as the seller did.

    AU. Notoriously weak strikes on these 23-S dollars. Pics look a little washed out, probably looks a lot better in person. I think you did fine, congrats.
