1914-D 'Phony' I'm not sure what it is. (link included)

But I know what its not :D
The mint is in any known locations for a genuine 1914-D Lincoln Cent.
Maybe an "S" made to like a "D"??
Maybe an added mint mark altogether??
Opinions welcome???

look at the very bottom left of the mint mark, see what could be the serif of an "S", then look at the very top right, its a little less but it still could be a part of the upper serif?
It looks possible that someone tried to make an "S" look like a D?

Clearly an added mint mark... Or manipulated and 'moved'... Either way, garbage. Cheers, RickO

It's the 1914-D/S OMM discovery piece!

The level of wear on the obverse is much greater than that seen on the reverse. This suggests the coin may have been worked on to hide something.
