I'm really diggin the new Washington quarter, very, very similar to the 1999 $5 dollar commem. Received this in my change today and was sorta taken back, love this rendition of George. This makes it the first time that George is facing right on any circulating coinage correct? The 1791 cent was the first time George was featured on a circulating coin, which was a cent. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The reverse is a great interpretation of Maya, I believe she would be thrilled with it. It has sparked my curiosity in obtaining the 1999 $5 dollar gold piece and doing deeper research on Maya. Have a good night all.
