Going through a house for an estate sale. A few coins in this one and a 1928 Peace

My wife and I do an estate sale or two a year ( with the exception of the last couple of years). We’re working on one now for a May sale and found a few coins. Best was a 1928 Peace dollar. Several clad Ike’s, wheats, and a little 90%.

This would be my 2nd best lot of coins found in an estate.

After zooming in on the reverse, I think I see an s mint mark. The coin is real dark in hand. There went that high price coin sale. Oh well.

I enhanced the photo and don’t think I see an S. Also, many 1928-P Peace dollars have a sort of beveled rim on the obverse, which I think I see here.

Those Kennedy assassination newspapers are fairly common at estate sales, along with the first moon landing.

If you look in the wrong place ( just below and to the left a tad of the E in ONE, you may see what I can see what looks like an S mint mark; however, the actual placement for the S mint mark is under the O in ONE and about twice as far down.
Anyone else see the S to which I'm referring?

Here’s an article I didn’t know where to post. It just seemed to be kinda similar in that you don’t know what you’ll find 😉

What was in the little tan box with the metered postage sticker?

That’s a super cool zippo lighter

The watch is in there but it’s trashed. Gold filled I think

The Sheffield box has a couple of nice sterling pen/pencil.

I see no S MM on that coin... Cannot make out the dates on the Kennedy halves in the 2x2's, but check for an accented hair among them. Cheers, RickO

I took another look at the coin in hand and it’s a plain ol 28.

The zippo box is straight out of 1968 but the lighter itself is beat up a little. Must have been used and then put back up later
