Well I was looking for David Poole and found this Sad News....

Checking his profile today I saw he was last on here in Oct 2021 and found this Obituary. Sad news as I bought a few of his Washington Quarters and did not see any other post about his passing. He was truly a nice guy to meet and sad to hear this. RIP and Condolences to His Family and Friends.

I thought he posted somewhere that he was a psychologist, but I could be wrong. I hope it is not him. He is a good guy and was always very pleasant and willing to share his expertise when asked. RIP.
He was a psychologist and a great person. Also a talented numismatist. Unfortunately, the sad news is true.

I had his phone number as area code 502. That is the Austin, Tx area. Sad news.
Oh no!
This is terrible news. David was always quite kind in our private messages and he had an obvious passion for the hobby. I'm quite saddened to read this and my condolences go out to his family and friends. RIP, David.

David was a good dude. Some of my first BST transactions was with him. Condolences to his family.
I have a strange, happy feeling that he's reading our comments right now from Heaven. David was a Christian.
David was a great dude. Savvy collector. Super sad news

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Still own one of David's coins he sold to me on the BST. Had the pleasure of sitting next to him at the '19 FUN Luncheon and had a great visit. May he rest in peace.

OMG! I don't know what to say.
Edit to add, He was who got me to sign up here from the old Ebay forum.
That’s very sad to hear. David was a “Gem” of a guy.

I'm so sorry to hear this. He was one of the sharpest people I've ever spoken with and had a remarkable wit and ability to coin a phrase. He was also a consummate collector and knowledgeable about a broad array of subjects with diverse interests. The world is a poorer place without him but a better place because of him.
RIP.

I met David for the first time in 2015 at the Fun Show and I remember being so nervous as a new collector to this series. He could tell my passion for the Washington Quarters and was willing to share any info about this Great Series. The one thing he told me was to Not get Buried in the coins I collected and I have always tried to follow that advice.
So many of our members that have just disappeared over the years and sure makes you appreciate the time we all have left. Enjoy.

Very sad to hear. David was one of the forum members I met up with many times over the years at various shows, and he was always a class act with a smile on his face.
Very sad.
My sincere condolences to his loved ones and all that knew him.
It seems he left this world a better place as a result of his life well lived and personal contributions.

This saddens me beyond any ability to express. David was a rock solid decent guy. He could remain unflappable in the midst of forum turmoil like nobody else, and produce wisdom in the middle of it. Gone way too soon.
RIP my friend.

My Condolences to his family and friends.
