Those are really cool. Love the first one with the locomotive. Easily my favorite. I have never seen something like this done on a gold coin.

I have mixed feelings when I see the great artwork but the destruction of classic gold coins even though they are common date coins. I have the same feeling when I see an expensive Corum wristwatch made by hollowing out a Liberty double eagle.

Not only were they all common dates, they were all problem coins too. So not too much lost... except for the gold that Shane carved away!!! Ha!!!

I was just talking to a wine maker who sells 10,000s of bottles of wine with gold foil printing on glass! The recycler in me thinks we'll never recover that gold!
